Location: Chess and Checker House in Central Park, (Located on Center Drive in the middle of park on 64th street (Can be a little tricky to find if it’s the first time you are going there, so arrive early)
Time Control: G/25 with 5 second delay.
USCF Dual Rated (Regular and Rapid Ratings)
Entry Fee: $35 per tournament by Monday before event, $45 after, $126 for all four tournaments
Prizes: $85 to 1st in each quad
Players will be grouped by rating order (1-4, 5-8, 9-12). If number of players is not a multiple of 4, there may be one bigger section with 2 prizes.
Chess sets and clocks are provided but feel to bring your own, if you prefer.
Tournament maxed at 20 players.

In other news, our Summer 2024 Table Tennis and Chess Camp, will take place from July 1 until August 30.
Camp will be open to all students in grades PreK- 9th grade.
-Chess Instruction will be led by Premier Chess CEO National Master Evan Rabin
–American Youth Table Tennis Organization has taught table tennis to thousands of New York City School Students and is led by Thomas Hu, who serves on the Table Tennis USA Board of Directors
-Camp will feature an 8-1 student-teacher ratio.
-Children will play table tennis in the morning and chess in the afternoon.
-Students of all chess levels will learn openings, middle game strategy, fundamental endgames, tactics, tournament preparation and much more.
-Through the olympic sport table tennis, students will learn footwork, forehand and backhand strokes, serves and service returns, tactics and winning mindset
Cost: $600/week
